january was a pretty easy month for me. for the first time since i moved to thailand i wasn’t studying thai, so pretty much i got up early, practiced yoga, taught, had a long lunch, came home to nap and watch dvds, then back to teach an evening class and then home to bed. starting the first of feb i’m back in thai school tho three hours with a private teacher every afternoon (mon-fri) … part of me thinks i’m crazy to let myself get so busy, but i really do love studying. of course i find it all very ironic that i dropped out of college to work my ass off and now i’m trying to find a way to arrange my work schedule so that it allows me to study. i think that in an ideal world i would teach 5 or so ashtanga classes a week and spend the rest of my time studying thai and sanskrit (well napping too, i miss napping in my new schedule) … but i guess i need to make more money than 5 classes would pay.
